From Chania International Airport “Ioannis Daskalogiannis”, you can reach Chania city centre either by bus or by taxi.
Bus routes are operated by KTEL Chania-Rethymno.
The final stop is the central bus station in Chania city centre.

The cost of a taxi from Chania Airport to Chania city centre is approximately €30.
The conference will take place at the Conference Center of MAICh
The bus route connecting Chania City Centre with MAI.Chania starts from the
74036 Chatzimichali Giannari bus stop and goes to the 74182 MAICh bus stop.
From this stop to the MAICh Conference Center is about 7 minutes walk.
To reach the Conference Centre, enter the MAICh premises through the first entrance you encounter when walking from the bus stop.

Bus No. 13 runs approximately every hour and every half hour. The first bus from the city centre to MAI.Chania departs at approximately
06:00 AM, while the last bus returning to the city centre departs at approximately
11:00 PM. Please check the latest timetable before travelling.

Bus tickets cost €1.30 for a one-way trip and should be purchased in advance from kiosks in the city centre. Please note that if the ticket is purchased on the bus, the price increases to €2.30.
A taxi from Chania city centre to MAI.Chania costs approximately €15.
