Περιγραφή Θέσης Εργασίας: Metaxa Hospitality Group (MHG) is an internationally multi-awarded group of companies that develops, manages, and operates Resorts and Hotels in Crete and Santorini (Greece). Metaxa Hospitality Group is looking for its hotel based in Heraklion: Hotel Financial Analyst Key Responsibilities: • Supporting and liaising with the hotel General Manager in meeting the organization’s strategic goals • Support Financial Controller in preparing and reviewing annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and operating results • Support all stakeholders in the monthly Dynamic Forecast process • Defining and applying controlling policies per corporate policy and ensure compliance with Group's financial standards. • Verify financial reports and ensuring that all transactions are accurate • Prepare management reports on time and ensure delivery deadlines • Implement effectively and control all accounting and reporting policies and procedures • Assist proactively with cost control requirements and policies • Assist with profit improvement opportunities for hotel operations, monitor and improve operation costs • Work with Financial Controller in identifying areas for improved efficiency in financial processes and implementing effective solutions • Work with Financial Controller to create efficiencies and automatization within the daily processes for controlling and P&L reporting • Monitor and improve hotel's operation costs and profitability and manage business risks • Ensures profits and losses are documented accurately • Ensures property policies are administered fairly and consistently • Assists in internal audit processes • Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees • Participating in any additional and/or special projects as requested by the Financial Controller Qualifications / personal characteristics: • BSc/MSc degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field • Qualified Charted Accountant (CA) credentials or equivalent will be considered as plus • Speaks and writes Greek and English fluently and has excellent communication skills • Min. 2 years of professional training gained up to property-based as Financial Analyst, Accountant or Cost Controller • Critical thinking, analytical skills and very well-organised • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Ideally, working knowledge of back offices or accounting systems preferably Softone • Preferably USALI trained, ideally by its 11th version • Desired hands-on experience in F&B and/or income auditor • Financial/business decision-making skills Benefits • Competitive salary remuneration. • Benefits & Bonuses. • Career development in a fast-paced, growing work environment. • Training opportunities. • Daily meals during hotel operations. • Full year job. • Friendly work environment
